Title: Moderation/Mediation

Abstract: Over the last 10 years the use of mediation and moderation methods in psychological research has increased at a dramatic rate. At the same time, there is a lot of confusion regarding the definitions of mediation and moderation, the differences between mediation and moderation, and the methods used to evaluate mediation and moderation. This talk will introduce researchers to the concepts of mediation and moderation, including a discussion of the ‘best practices’ for conducting simple and advanced mediation and moderation analyses.
